Job Description :

1. The role of Regional IT Engineer will be instrumental in managing the region’s
    technology platform which connects countries to our clients Global Systems and
    competence in supporting products introduced into the region.
2. The Engineer will be required to coordinate and communicate extensively with
    countries within the region.
3. This position will be part of the Regional Support Services Team based in Mumbai,
    India

Desired Profile :

1. Minimum work experience required 6+ years
2. Ability to manage and develop relationships at all levels within the company.
3. Comprehensive knowledge IT in the Travel and Global Distribution (GDS)
    industry, and together with proven implementation track record within key
    regional countries in Asia Pacific.
4. Total dedication to and focus upon servicing and supporting both internal and
    external customers is absolutely essential.
5. Computer literate (MS Office 2003, MS Access, MS Project, Crystal Reports,
    Business Objects) is essential together with a good understanding of information
    systems needs relating to the Global Travel Management industry.
6. A positive and contributory attitude and strong team player.
7. Strong English comprehension and communication are essential

1. Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus / Abacus / Galileo)
2. Microsoft SQL Database Management / Administration / Data Manipulation
3. Data Reporting and Business Analysis
4. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
5. Online Booking Environment for Corporate Travel
6. Online Booking Tool Competence ( e-Travel Aergo & Sabre Get There)
7. Agent Point of Sale Scripting
8. Microsoft .NET Technology
9. Java & Visual Basic Scripting
